SITE VISIT & PRELIMINARY PROJECT APPRAISAL.....
It is never too early to get us involved in the golf development process... and our initial site visit and preliminary project appraisal can potentially save time, trouble and expense in the longer term.
A visit to the site will quickly enable us to evaluate the potential or viability of the site to support the proposed golf and associated facilities, or allow us to offer recommendations for the most appropriate and suitable development content.  

Our preliminary appraisal of the project can then provide a solid basis for
further discussion and sound decision making.
what do you need to develop a good golf course?
There are many factors involved in the creation of a good golf course (and not all of them tangible).  Some, or all, of the following should give you a good start......
 60 hectares of interesting, attractive and gently undulating land per 18 holes
A liberal sprinkling of complementary natural features, set in eye-catching surroundings
Water for irrigation from a consistent, adequate and sustainable source
Water sources such as saline, 'grey', waste and harvested.....but not drinking water
Lack of intrusion from roads, railway lines, cables, pylons or other unsightly blemishes
Free-draining/sandy topsoil - either on site or available locally
Reliable supplies of good quality sand and crushed stone
Good support services, amenities and facilities
Good access to the site
what do we need for the initial site inspection?
Not a lot really......
A site plan -- preferably 1:2000/1:2500 and ideally with contours -- showing the site boundaries and the main site features will be useful.
After that, any available information which may help in properly evaluating the project is a bonus.
We will set out any further information requirements within our preliminary appraisal report.

Sometimes, we  have to go a bit above & beyond the call of duty. One client thought we would get a better view of the land from the top of the region's highest mountain... unfortunately there were no roads, so we had to climb it on foot. We didn't gain any extra insights but the views were spectacular*/vertiginous*
